ลูกถ่วง- counter-weights;

ถ่วงให้ชักช้า- to cause unnecessary delay, to obstruct (as by making trifling objections); ถ่วงเรือ- to place ballast in a boat or ship.

เบ็ดถูกถ่วงให้จม The fish-hook is weighted to make it sink.
